Character Questions:
1. Who is the person your character is most bonded with from their canon, or who is someone they miss the most and why?
Mirabelle has bonded with quite a few people in her canon, so it's difficult to pick just one. Instead, I'm going to say that if she had to pick one person that she misses the most, her thoughts (prior to arriving in game) would immediately arrive at the Head Housemaiden, Euphrasie. She's someone that Mirabelle unquestionably respects and looks up to, the platonic ideal of what a Housemaiden should be: Confidant, graceful, wise, talented, and just all-around wonderful. A lot of things which Mirabelle feels she still needs to improve upon herself. She spends most of the game wondering why Euphrasie chose her to save Vaugarde, when she could have chosen anyone else--or better yet, saved herself; and I'm sure that a lot of Mirabelle's drive comes from not wanting to disappoint her, in addition to wanting to save everyone. When a chance arises in canon to reunite with Euphrasie, Mirabelle in her relief rushes so quickly to see her that she ends up leaving the rest of the party behind, which is extremely unlike her. That's just how important Euphrasie is to her, and how worried she is/was about her.
2. What are they most afraid of and why?
Her country being frozen in time is her most pressing fear in canon for obvious reasons, but if situations weren't so dire, then she would be most afraid of failing to live up to the expectations that others have of her. She's a Housemaiden of the Change God, which means that she should be constantly welcoming change into her life--through physical changes to her body or changes to her personality or her tastes or her desires. But the truth is that she doesn't want to Change. She's most comfortable being who she is right now, and the idea that she either has to change herself or be forced to disappoint not only the people around her but also her god, is something she dreads deeply.
Her fear also manifests in other ways. She loves to learn new things, but she's rarely very good at them; and she worries that she'll be looked down on for not making use of the skills that she learns. It's not a passion that she intends to chase like with her peers, she just likes to learn.
In general, she seems to worry that other people will find out she's a fraud. She's not actually the Change God's chosen--and if the people she intends to save learn that, they might lose faith in her and lose hope that they'll survive. So she has to keep up this pretense that she knows is false, while being terrified it'll be discovered and not knowing how else to validate that people will believe in here (when she doesn't even believe in herself).
3. What are their emotional, mental, and physical weaknesses and why?
4. What discrepancies are there between their inner self (who they feel they are) and their outer self (how they present themselves to others)?
The Change God's Chosen! That's her! The Savior of Vaugarde! The one who will defeat the King and unfreeze everyone! Imagine having the weight of that responsibility on your shoulders and knowing you're a fraud.
The Change God never blessed her. The Head Housemaiden did, and she doesn't have the faintest idea why. But no one can know--because everyone in the whole country is relying on her to save them and their loved ones; and if they knew... They'd be crushed with despair. They might even lose faith in the Change belief entirely. Even her own party relies on her to save them because she's the only one who can't be frozen; and the only one who can unfreeze them if they are. The pressure is immense to keep up this charade, so while the whole world sees her as a blessing; she sees herself as a liar who can only do her best not to let everyone down with this task she's been given.
5. What would make them happiest and why?
Obviously, her country not being frozen in time. But beyond that... There's a discrepancy between what she thinks will make her happy and what would actually make her happy. She thinks that being able to Change in the ways asked of her, that being the correct kind of follower of the Change belief would make her happy--if she could actually be that person. But unfortunately, that isn't the person that she is; and deep down I think she does know that she won't really find happiness that way. But she won't find it by being antithetical to her beliefs, either, and that's the crux of the problem. She wants to be herself, the person that she's comfortable with; but she also wants to follow a belief narrative that (she thinks) asks her to change everything about herself constantly.
So I think what would actually make her happy is closure on that subject: To know that she doesn't have to change in ways that she doesn't want to. That she can change in other ways (and that she is changing in other ways already), and that is perfectly acceptable too. She can honor her beliefs without compromising who she is.
6. What characteristics does someone need to have to be your character's ideal significant other?
The sort of person Mirabelle is looking for in a significant other is... Someone nice? Someone pretty? Someone who likes her?
Just kidding.
Mirabelle isn't interested in having a romantic partner. What she really wants from a companion--a best friend--is someone that she feels comfortable with. Someone whose kindness she can trust in, even when digging on her (which happens between friends, she gets it). It's rare that she gets the chance to unwind from her anxious nature, where she doesn't have to second guess if she's living up to the Mirabelle that they are counting on. So that trust and that understanding is so vital to her being able to relax and be herself around them.
It also doesn't hurt if they like to read books, especially romance and/or horror.
7. Would your character make a sacrifice to save someone else and why or why not?
Yes and no. It would depend on the circumstances-- Are people relying on her in some other way? Can she do something other than sacrifice to save them? In canon, Mirabelle is the only one with the ability to unfreeze people who have been frozen in time. She can't afford to sacrifice herself, when her party is counting on her to unfreeze them if needed. Saving just one person could mean dooming everyone--not just her party, but her whole country if they fail because of her.
On the other hand, Mirabelle cares deeply about people--and not enough about herself. If she weren't in the position of being everyone's savior, if this blessing (and its responsibility) had been given to anyone else, then she would have absolutely done whatever necessary to save even one person. Even if that meant sacrificing herself.
8. What is one thing they would tell their younger self if they had the chance, or if your character is young, what is one thing they would want their older self to remember?
Mirabelle would love to be able to tell her younger self that she figures it all out, that she knows what she's doing with her life, that everything eventually just clicks together... But unfortunately, she can't. Her confidence just isn't there. She doesn't feel that she's particularly good at anything. The whole country is counting on her, and she doesn't know why. She's not even sure that she can save them. She doesn't have any reassurances for herself--past or present.
But maybe she does in the future. Maybe she saves Vaugarde, and she finally figures out why it had to be her. Maybe that's something her future self could tell her. At the very least, for Mirabelle in the present, she has to believe that it'll work out in the end. She has to believe that there will be a future for them to look back from because that's what her belief in the Change god instills in her: The promise of change and growth, and the possibility of the future.
So if she told her past self anything, if she reminded her future self of anything, it would be that. Regardless of what happens, they have to keep striving for the future.
9. When in dire circumstances does your character fight, flee, freeze or fawn and how does that look?
Contrary to how she presents, Mirabelle's instinctive reaction in a dire circumstance is to Fight. She gets heated; she reaches for her sword. There's an untapped ruthlessness in her that her friends have noted but she vehemently denies. She wants to be kind and soft and accepting (and very often is); but if pushed far enough or startled badly enough, she's ready to throw down out of self preservation. (Comically, this happens once when a friend asks about some papers that she's being secretive about, prompting her to reach for her weapon and demand that they tell her what they know, as battle music starts playing.)
In some instances, if the situation is hopelessly dire or horrifying enough, she'll flip back into the Freeze reaction that most would expect from her demeanor. This is also the case if something startles or spooks her enough, or if she lapses into a panic attack.
10. Why did your character make the wish they did?
Mirabelle has a lot of insecurities about herself. Primary among those is that she doesn't live up to the image that she thinks she should portray, as a Housemaiden of the Change God. The head Housemaiden, her friends, her country, everyone is relying on her, and she simply doesn't feel like she's enough. She even tries to give her friends an out--if they want to abandon their quest, if they don't think she can protect them, she doesn't want to force them to face the King with her. (They decline, of course.) But the fact still stands that she doesn't believe in herself. But she wants to.
She wants to be the kind of person that people look up to and rely on, like the Head Housemaiden is for her. And if that wish were fulfilled, then naturally everything else would fall into place, including the battle with the King that she's been dreading so much.

Character Appearance: Here.
Powers and Abilities:
- Craft: This is the magic system of her canon, which primarily revolves around the use of rock-paper-scissors motifs. (Have a link to the wiki for the general information, if you need more than "it's basically magic".) Mirabelle is proficient in Paper Craft, Scissors Craft, and Healing/Restoration Craft. None of her abilities are overly powerful--either limited in damage, duration, or frequency of use (requiring a cooldown before casting again); so I don't feel there's a need to nerf them if she regains them. Additionally, using too much Craft at once without rest can have some seriously debilitating side effects, since it pulls energy from the user.
I've briefly listed her abilities here for transparency:- Jolly Round Rondo (Scissors): Damage to one enemy, small cooldown.
- Artsy Silent Burst (Paper): Damage to multiple enemies, medium cooldown.
- Super Sparkle Heal (Healing): Heal one person for 80% HP (major heal), small cooldown.
- Pretty Buffy Friend (Support): Increases party's attack for a bit, medium cooldown.
- Lovely Moving Cure (Restoration): Unfreezes time for one person, medium cooldown. (Unlikely to be used in this setting.)
- Shining Life (Restoration): Revives one KO person. (This is specifically not a resurrect. It only wakes and heals an unconscious/severely injured person. If they dead, they dead.)
- Adorable Moving Shield (Special): Creates a shield for multiple people, medium duration, big cooldown. (One of her most powerful abilities. It prevents all time-based ailments and also provides damage reduction to a group of people.)
- "Blessing of the Change God" : Mirabelle cannot have her Time stopped, though she is still able to be affected by magic that slows a person down. This is such a specific use case that I don't see the need to nerf this either.

3. What are their emotional, mental, and physical weaknesses and why?
- Emotional Weaknesses: She is not... great at expressing herself. Due to her anxiety (see next bullet point), she often holds in a lot of her thoughts and feelings, falling back instead on only positive thoughts even if her thoughts aren't so positive. This tends to lead to miscommunication, or a bottling effect where the feelings become a source of further anxiety because she can't talk about them.
- Mental Weaknesses: She has anxiety, and the self-esteem issues are rampant. She doesn't think she's particularly good at anything, and she is in a constant state of worrying that she's not living up to expectations. This makes it difficult for her to acknowledge her own strengths, including her passion for helping others and her determination to see a task through to the end. Often those two things are enough to see her through (along with help from her mentor or her friends), but sometimes the anxiety renders her unable to function--like having panic attacks, or locking herself in her room for a week.
- Physical Weaknesses: Rock type. (Seriously, she has poor defense against Rock Craft. Otherwise, she doesn't have any particularly notable physical weaknesses. She practices sword-fighting so she's at least decently fit.)
